Honourable Doctor Olatoye Temitope Sugar also drunk the water while commissioning




At the official commissioning of borehole constructed by Hon. (Dr.) Olatoye Temitope Sugar on Thursday 11th January, 2018 at Idi-Ose, Ibadan three visually impaired people who can now see with their eyes appreciated the Federal lawmaker for giving them the opportunity to have benefits in his free health programme.



Mr. Bayo Oladiti who was visually impaired for more than 5 years appreciated the Honourable adding that he didn't know that he would be able to see with his eyes.

I had spent so much money on the blindness without any positive result, all my properties including motor were lost due to the illness because I couldn't see anything so how could I know what was happening, the man said. Adding that when he went to the free health programme he couldn't see the items they were using for him at first time but secondly, when they treated his eyes he could see very clearly as if nothing happened to his eyes before, saying that he got back to his house without a support of anybody.

" In my house it seemed as if we were doing ceremony when I reached home without a support of anybody or holding a stick, I was the number 1 in Akinyele Local Government Area to heal from blindness at the Free health programme by Hon (Dr.) Olatoye Temitope Sugar, the man said. While praying that may the Lord consent the gubernatorial ambition of the Honourable.
The second person who was also benefitted in the free health programme appraised the value of the programme, she appreciated the Honourable for his kindness and humanity for giving her the opportunity to be among the people who were healed from the blindness, adding that although she had already gone to the UCH for treatment of eyes and despite all the money she spent on it there no positive result.
The woman continued in her statements that but when she heard that Hon Sugar is doing free health programme so that was why she decided to participate in the programme not knowing that she would be healed eventually in the programme.


The third woman from Idi-Ose also joined the people in appreciations for being able to be among the people who benefitted from the free health programme launched by the Honourable in the state, the woman really appreciated the Honourable that she couldn't see with her eyes but it was a day when she suddenly switched on her radio and heard that Hon (Dr.) Temitope Olatoye Sugar is doing free health programme at Moniya, Ibadan then she decided to go there might be God would answer her prayer at the place. Adding that when she reached there, doctors gave her drugs and told her to come back in the next 15 days, stressing that she got back again and the doctors told her there would be an operation for her eye before she would be able to see and it was done successfully.
The woman prayed a lot for the opportunity.

The Honourable also gave kudos to the Lord and the people who appreciated the benefits which they got from his free health programme in the state, adding that the programme really costs him huge money than other projects which he is doing in the state stressing that the well-being of the good people of Ọyọ State is his first priority, saying that that is the main reason why the programme is everyday for the good people of Ọyọ State.

The Otun Olubadan of Ibadan land, High Chief Lekan Balogun , has described the invalidation of 21 Ibadan kings ’ installations as disappointing, stressing that there is nothing to contest in the 1957 Olubadan Chieftaincy Declaration review because nothing has changed . In a verdict delivered by Justice Olajumoke Aiki of an Ibadan High Court on Friday, the court ruled that Governor Abiola Ajimobi, who ordered the review and installation of the 21 kings on August 27 , 2017 , acted beyond his constitutional powers . The lingering crisis rocking the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State on Tuesday took another dimension as a faction within the party, APC Unity Forum, announced its decision to leave the party for another one where its interest would be protected. The popular Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, also known as Kwam 1, has confirmed the death of one of his daughters, Wasilat. Wasilat died in Canada after a brief illness. The deceased, said to be 34 years old, reportedly died in the early hours of Tuesday from complications arising from diabetes.  A popular Ibadan-based broadcaster, Oriyomi Hamzat, has been released from the custody of the State Security Service (SSS), where he was detained for weeks. Mr Hamzat, who owns Agidigbo radio station in Ibadan, was detained at the SSS office in Ibadan on August 1. He was later transferred to the Abuja office of the agency. Individuals and groups, like the Association of Nigerian Comrades (ANC), have clamoured for the release of the broadcaster whose arrest was seen as unlawful and an infringement on press freedom. Narrating how he was arrested, the general manager of Agidigbo radio station, Ismail Idowu, said the SSS officers visited the radio station on July 31, demanding to see Mr Hamzat. The Ibadan M ogajis (family heads) , under the aegis of Council of Authentic Ibadan Mogajis, have issued a seven -day ultimatum to the 21 kings installed by the Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, to withdraw their threat to recommend Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Saliu Adetunji , for removal or face the wrath of Ibadan people . The 21 kings , who were on August 27 , 2017 installed by the governor , had on Monday given a 21 -day ultimatum to the monarch to be of good conduct or risk being removed from the throne.
