Honourable Doctor Olatoye Temitope Sugar of Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency assured the good people of Ọyọ State that more dividends of good governance will be evenly and fairly distributed if elected as governor of Ọyọ State come 2019, adding that the good people of Ọyọ State have not seen anything yet, the season film of good governance full of transparency, accuracy, accountability, credibility, integrity, egalitarianism and humanity is upcoming by the grace of Almighty God.

 Dr. Sugar reiterated that as part of his promise to run an all inclusive government, no part of the State will be left behind in the scheme of affairs, just as he is urging the good people of Ọyọ State to continue to play their parts to bring about the desired transformation.

He said that the recent celebration of the new year signified the triumph of faith and the assurance that Almighty Allah will always open a way for those who have absolute trust in his grace.

This is a greater year for all of us especially as we strive to achieve the Ọyọ State of our collective dream.
“We must remain hopeful and keep faith in the absolute power of Allah to turn our aspirations into reality. It is however, very important, for all of us to play our own part just by going to our local government areas and collect our Permanent Voter's card for the actualization of good governance come 2019," Hon. Sugar said.

The Honourable assured the good people of Ọyọ State of his commitment to their welfare irrespective of tribe, colour or creed.

“Let me again use this opportunity to reassure all residents of the Pacesetter that we remain committed to the welfare and well being of all citizens irrespective of their location within the State without prejudice to ethnic, religious and socio economic background.
“We will ensure that the dividend of good governance be evenly and fairly distributed in line with our pledge not to leave any part of the State behind if elected,” he said.

Besides, Hon Sugar is now thanking the good people of Ọyọ State for showing absolute faith and support in the ability of his representation , adding that the well-being of the good people of Ọyọ State is his first priority, stressing that that is the reason why he made OLATOYE SUGAR FOUNDTION FREE MASS TRANSIT to make sure that all the residents of the Pacesetter enjoy democracy.

Dr. Olatoye Sugar also urged Nigerians especially the good people of Ọyọ to continue to spread love and uphold religious tolerance for the progress of the State and country at large.

He said that the whole essence of his compassion is to share love and to also touch people who are in need. We must continue to spread love and preach love. With religious tolerance, Ọyọ will be better, just keep praying, supporting and vote for him in 2019 to make his great dreams about Ọyọ State come true.

“For obvious reasons, Ọyọ State has been very peaceful. Our attitude has changed positively. We are more peaceful, we are very calm and good people of Ọyọ State are seeing that attitude is what can give us prosperity and that is what I want the people to continue to uphold,” Hon. Sugar said.

He said since inception of his representation, he has been running an all inclusive government where no part and section of the State is left behind, saying that the newly created FREE MASS TRANSIT  is another demonstrable evidence of the commitment of him to always connect with the people.

OLUBADAN CHIEFTAINCY: I AM DISAPPOINTED AT JUDGMENT, SAYS OBA LEKAN BALOGUN

The Otun Olubadan of Ibadan land, High Chief Lekan Balogun , has described the invalidation of 21 Ibadan kings ’ installations as disappointing, stressing that there is nothing to contest in the 1957 Olubadan Chieftaincy Declaration review because nothing has changed . In a verdict delivered by Justice Olajumoke Aiki of an Ibadan High Court on Friday, the court ruled that Governor Abiola Ajimobi, who ordered the review and installation of the 21 kings on August 27 , 2017 , acted beyond his constitutional powers . Balogun , who was among the Ibadan high chiefs and baales that had their status elevated to kings , told our correspondent that Ajimobi, who initiated the move , was only demonstrating his eagerness to promote Ibadan city and elevate its chieftaincy system without changing the structure. The lingering crisis rocking the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State on Tuesday took another dimension as a faction within the party, APC Unity Forum, announced its decision to leave the party for another one where its interest would be protected. Public Relations Officer (PRO), of the faction, Mr. Wasiu Olawale Sadare made his statement. The popular Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, also known as Kwam 1, has confirmed the death of one of his daughters, Wasilat. Wasilat died in Canada after a brief illness. The deceased, said to be 34 years old, reportedly died in the early hours of Tuesday from complications arising from diabetes. On Thursday, Kwam 1 extolled the virtues of his late daughter while saying he accepts her death as the will of Allah.  A popular Ibadan-based broadcaster, Oriyomi Hamzat, has been released from the custody of the State Security Service (SSS), where he was detained for weeks. Mr Hamzat, who owns Agidigbo radio station in Ibadan, was detained at the SSS office in Ibadan on August 1. He was later transferred to the Abuja office of the agency. Individuals and groups, like the Association of Nigerian Comrades (ANC), have clamoured for the release of the broadcaster whose arrest was seen as unlawful and an infringement on press freedom. Narrating how he was arrested, the general manager of Agidigbo radio station, Ismail Idowu, said the SSS officers visited the radio station on July 31, demanding to see Mr Hamzat. OLUBADAN: MOGAJIS ISSUE SEVEN-DAY ULTIMATUM TO 21 IBADAN KINGS

The Ibadan M ogajis (family heads) , under the aegis of Council of Authentic Ibadan Mogajis, have issued a seven -day ultimatum to the 21 kings installed by the Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, to withdraw their threat to recommend Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Saliu Adetunji , for removal or face the wrath of Ibadan people . The 21 kings , who were on August 27 , 2017 installed by the governor , had on Monday given a 21 -day ultimatum to the monarch to be of good conduct or risk being removed from the throne.
