HON. OLATOYE SUGAR, ADVOCATE OF GOOD GOVERNANCE WORTHY OF EMULATION
The journey of life is not meant to be feared, it is meant to be traveled and enjoyed and to be bold enough to fight for people's rights. This, perhaps, is one of the synopses that the elected Federal Representative currently representing Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency under the platform of APC who is also the leading gubernatorial aspirant in Ọyọ State whose name is Honourable Doctor Olatoye Temitope Sugar who is at 40s has equipped himself in his journey through life.
He is gentle, calm, resourceful, intelligent and ready to provide leadership at any time and season.
Born on March 2nd, 1972, Dr. Sugar belongs to the class of leaders, who consider leadership as an opportunity to serve. He is, therefore, well prepared for leadership; little wonder the performances he is churning out on a daily basis.
He has distinguished himself from his ilk whose first and last interest is what can accrue to their personal purse. Instead, he has modeled a politics of nobility, where what counts is the greater good of the people.
For Dr. Sugar, politics, like any other endeavour, must reinvent itself to meet with the modern demands of governance. He believes that leaders are primarily responsible and responsive to the people, any other thing from this, is kicking democracy on the face.
As a member of the House of Representatives, he is the Chairman committee on Urban and Regional Planning and now one of the governorship aspirants of the Pacesetter state, he has exudes politics of engagement. His ability to listen to people and intelligently take actions that will benefit the populace stands him out of the lots.
If anything, Dr. Sugar as a representative, has promoted the concept of a strong dichotomy between politics and governance. Severally, he enunciated that partisan interests should not override public interest. This concept is perhaps what is pushing governance and service delivery to the rooftops in his Constituency and beyond.
Since becoming representative, Dr. Sugar has left no one in doubt that he was and is really prepared for leadership and is Abuja with the needs and demands of the good people of the Pacesetter. His work is sure-footed and steady, progressing ever forward, never failing his people.
As representative, Dr. Sugar has raised the ante of purposeful leadership and good governance. He is transforming his Constituency with dividends of democracy and has imprinted indelible marks in the sand of history in the state.
His achievements traversed all sectors of human endeavour, which space and time would not allow us to enumerate here.
His representation is up to date in the delivery of dividends of democracy in his Constituency and Ọyọ State at large.

For Dr. Sugar, a detribalised and committed Nigerian who has built a formidable alliance in all nooks and crannies of the country, he close glorious 46th birthday, but as they say, the reward for hard work is more work.
