Yoruba Youth Groups Formed New Alliance (AYYCW), Unveil Executives
After decades of efforts in getting Yoruba Youths unified and coordinated under one umbrella, several stakeholders meeting were held for more than a year and by January, 2020, the Yoruba Youth Movement finally got it right at an assembly that took place in Ibadan with the emergence of Alliance of Yoruba Youths Council Worldwide (AYYCW). Among Yoruba Youth Movement in active participation of the Alliance that form ‘AYYCW’ according to a statement issued and signed by the body’ Convener Secretary Ogbeni Kolawole James are: Yoruba Youths Frontiers, Yoruba Youths Alliance, Yoruba Progressive Youths, and Yoruba Youth Remodel among others, with their leadership from Osun, Oyo, Ogun, Lagos, Ondo, Ekiti and Kwara fully represented in good numbers.
