The truce between the Olubadan of Ibadan , Oba Saliu Adetunji , and some members of the Olubadan -in- Council over the 2017 chieftaincy reform initiated by former Governor Abiola Ajimobi may have , once again, suffered a setback. This is because the affected Ibadan high chiefs have denied the report that said they had agreed to drop their crowns . One of the affected chiefs , High Chief Tajudeen Ajibola , said the new promotion did not invalidate their crowns .
