OYO 2019: HON. SUGAR, THE DIGITAL YOUNG MAN WE NEED IN OYO STATE

Since the beginning of this democratic dispensation, no representative in Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency has performed like Hon. (Dr.) Olatoye Temitope Sugar. In the same vein, Honourable Olatoye Temitope Sugar has distinguished himself as a worthy representative of the good people of Akinleye/Lagelu federal constituency a feat that has never happened in the history of the consituency. 

 
The present clamour by the people of Oyo State to get their only trusted and tested son "Honourable Olatoye Temitope Sugar as Governor of Oyo State in 2019.

As the 2019 general elections approach, some people have showed interest to vie for the Oyo State gubernatorial seat. First and best among them is the incumbent Lawmaker representing Akinleye/Lagelu federal Constituency, Abuja Dr. Sugar of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

Findings show that the good people of Oyo State are now saying that they won’t support anybody but only Honourable Olatoye Temitope Sugar due to his great performances in the house of Assembly and his kindness, humanity and delivery of dividends of democracy in Akinyele/Lagelu LGAs and Oyo State at large.


Honourable Olatoye Temitope Sugar who is the leading aspirant for the governorship seat under the platform of the APC, is a young man with so much goodwill.


Hon. Sugar is involved in the struggle for the betterment, progress and well-being of the good people in the good of Oyo State.

It was gathered that the clamour for Hon. Sugar to emerge as the next Governor of Oyo State is coming from people, mostly the good people good people of Oyo State cut across different political parties because of his age, experience, level of exposure and his love for the entire people of the state.

“Most of us, I mean the youths want Hon. Sugar because he is young and vocal. He will do the minds of the people especially the youths, traders, farmers, widows, disables and salaried people if he emerges as Governor. He knows what the people are facing unlike others. Hon. Sugar is well educated and understands the times we are and the challenges his people are facing due to the unfriendly economy facing Nigeria. This young man is in the race, not for personal benefit, but to make a positive difference in Oyo State.

Speaking on the governorship contest, everybody in Oyo State is saying that they want a young person to takeover the mantle of leadership such as Hon. Sugar because he is the most qualified divine aspirant who is politically agile and well experienced in working hard towards the upliftment, progress, transformation, restoration, repositioning and the development of Oyo State.

According to them, “by so doing, we believe we will find rest in our endless search for a leader like Hon. Sugar that would take us to the promise land.”

“As a young person, if given the opportunity, we know that Hon. Sugar's ambition to grow both in age and career  would make him to be accountable to the people, so that tomorrow we can find him worthy for greater assignment.”

“I draw my inspiration from the Holy scripture on how God used young David and little Prophet Samuel to established his authority in Israel. Young David is recorded in the scripture as a man after God’s own heart. While others are looking for the old and experienced Eliabs, I see David and a giant in Hon. Sugar's.

Speaking further, “In this digital era, we need digital young man like Hon. Sugar to lead, he is well read, intelligent, exposed and what have you. We need to key into the trends of events in the world where young people are being elected into positions of authority. 39 year Emmanuel Macron of France is leading the trend, Austria equally followed suit by electing a 31 year old person as president.

Let us support him, he is our son and brother!
He can't let us down!
He is coming to pave the way for the present and next generations of Ọyọ State.

OLUBADAN CHIEFTAINCY: I AM DISAPPOINTED AT JUDGMENT, SAYS OBA LEKAN BALOGUN

The Otun Olubadan of Ibadan land, High Chief Lekan Balogun , has described the invalidation of 21 Ibadan kings ’ installations as disappointing, stressing that there is nothing to contest in the 1957 Olubadan Chieftaincy Declaration review because nothing has changed . In a verdict delivered by Justice Olajumoke Aiki of an Ibadan High Court on Friday, the court ruled that Governor Abiola Ajimobi, who ordered the review and installation of the 21 kings on August 27 , 2017 , acted beyond his constitutional powers . The lingering crisis rocking the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State on Tuesday took another dimension as a faction within the party, APC Unity Forum, announced its decision to leave the party for another one where its interest would be protected. Public Relations Officer (PRO), of the faction, Mr. Wasiu Olawale Sadare made his statement. The popular Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, also known as Kwam 1, has confirmed the death of one of his daughters, Wasilat. Wasilat died in Canada after a brief illness. The deceased, said to be 34 years old, reportedly died in the early hours of Tuesday from complications arising from diabetes. On Thursday, Kwam 1 extolled the virtues of his late daughter while saying he accepts her death as the will of Allah. POPULAR JOURNALIST, ORIYOMI HAMZAT, FREED FROM SSS COUSTODY

 A popular Ibadan-based broadcaster, Oriyomi Hamzat, has been released from the custody of the State Security Service (SSS), where he was detained for weeks. Mr Hamzat, who owns Agidigbo radio station in Ibadan, was detained at the SSS office in Ibadan on August 1. He was later transferred to the Abuja office of the agency. Individuals and groups, like the Association of Nigerian Comrades (ANC), have clamoured for the release of the broadcaster whose arrest was seen as unlawful and an infringement on press freedom. Narrating how he was arrested, the general manager of Agidigbo radio station, Ismail Idowu, said the SSS officers visited the radio station on July 31, demanding to see Mr Hamzat. OLUBADAN: MOGAJIS ISSUE SEVEN-DAY ULTIMATUM TO 21 IBADAN KINGS

The Ibadan M ogajis (family heads) , under the aegis of Council of Authentic Ibadan Mogajis, have issued a seven -day ultimatum to the 21 kings installed by the Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, to withdraw their threat to recommend Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Saliu Adetunji , for removal or face the wrath of Ibadan people . The 21 kings , who were on August 27 , 2017 installed by the governor , had on Monday given a 21 -day ultimatum to the monarch to be of good conduct or risk being removed from the throne.
