POC OYO ADVISES OYSG, ALGON, SUES FOR PEACE, SETTLEMENT

A group under the auspices of Progressive Oyo Connect (POC) has appealed to Governor Seyi Makinde and ALGON members to sue for peace and tranquility.
The group, in a statement made available to Mouthpiece NGR on Sunday by its publicity secretary, Comrade Inaolaji Akinloye advised Governor Makinde to see himself as Oyo state Governor and shun any act of partisan politics.

The statement reads: “The progressive oyo connect wish to use this medium to appeal to our state governor and democratically elected local government chairmen and councillors in oyo state to consider oyo state interest first by adopting a dialogue in resolving the local government brouhaha instead of WAR-WAR approach because when two elephants fight the grass suffers.

“We want to advise our darling governor seyi makinde to always see himself as oyo state governor not as a partisan PDP governor.

“The tenure of the constitutionally elected local government chairmen and councillors will lapse in less than 18months.”

“In lieu of this, we want to appeal to our governor to work hand in hand with elected council chairmen(ALGON). All we are preaching is peace and harmony.”
