HON. OBATUNDE, POSSIBILITY OF GREATNESS, SOLUTION TO IDO STATE CONSTITUENCY

Hon. Obatunde Oladapo is a philanthropist, humanitarian, builder of men, effective public servant and profound contributor to the much anticipated renaissance of a better Ido Local Government State Constituency and Oyo State at large with hope and spanning equal opportunities for all.

For want to a proper word, I would say without equivocation that Hon. Obatunde Oladapo is pure gold. He is as straight as a pin.

Hon. Obatunde Oladapo is unyielding on truth, integrity, transparency, accountability and fulfillment of promises but quite mobile in achievements, he is an A rated political pioneer, standing as a living Angel to the solution of Ido State Constituency of Oyo State, some say, a living monument of never-seen-before greatness of a better Ido State Constituency of Oyo State. 

He is wholesome. Once in a generation a superb being walks the earth, confirming the possibility of greatness and the solution to Ido State Constituency of Oyo State, especially to those whose advent is base-all man is created equal by God for any and everything spectacular.

Hon. Obatunde's life affirms it. Such is his life. He is endlessly praised because he is a wonder. We can only continue to pray for him to remain in soundness of body, soul and spirit : long may he rein for the actualization of a better Ido State Constituency. 

His strength of character, depth of convictions and obstinacy in pursuit of worthy causes make him a tornado politician with the mantle of leadership. He possess the gift of sincerity, humanity and simplicity, hence his persuasive acumen.

A boundlessly generous man, his large heartedness is legendary. He is an open book with an open mind. In my opinion, he is a great politician worthy of emulation throughout the federation.

Look around him, you will see people he has raised to great heights in life, inspiring, leading and directing them to multiple victories. He maintains a paternal and brotherly relationship with his followers and the good people of Ido Local Government and Oyo State at large whom he remains devoted.

A believer in delivery of dividends of democracy to the good people of Oyo State, a political doyen with innovative ideals, a restless believer in mankind’s ability to create “new frontiers” suffices the notion that all things good can be attained.

With all these things mentioned above, Hon. Obatunde Oladapo deserves our prayers and supports and votes for becoming the forthcoming Representative of Ido State Constituency at Oyo State House of Assembly. 

Let's support and vote in him as legislator representing Ido State Constituency of Oyo State, he is the right man at right time for the right people.

OLUBADAN CHIEFTAINCY: I AM DISAPPOINTED AT JUDGMENT, SAYS OBA LEKAN BALOGUN

The Otun Olubadan of Ibadan land, High Chief Lekan Balogun , has described the invalidation of 21 Ibadan kings ’ installations as disappointing, stressing that there is nothing to contest in the 1957 Olubadan Chieftaincy Declaration review because nothing has changed . In a verdict delivered by Justice Olajumoke Aiki of an Ibadan High Court on Friday, the court ruled that Governor Abiola Ajimobi, who ordered the review and installation of the 21 kings on August 27 , 2017 , acted beyond his constitutional powers . Balogun , who was among the Ibadan high chiefs and baales that had their status elevated to kings , told our correspondent that Ajimobi, who initiated the move , was only demonstrating his eagerness to promote Ibadan city and elevate its chieftaincy system without changing the structure. The lingering crisis rocking the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State on Tuesday took another dimension as a faction within the party, APC Unity Forum, announced its decision to leave the party for another one where its interest would be protected. Public Relations Officer (PRO), of the faction, Mr. Wasiu Olawale Sadare made his statement. News recalls that the party, in the last couple of months, has been enmershed in crisis over which of the faction will have the control of the soul of the party. The popular Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, also known as Kwam 1, has confirmed the death of one of his daughters, Wasilat. Wasilat died in Canada after a brief illness. The deceased, said to be 34 years old, reportedly died in the early hours of Tuesday from complications arising from diabetes. On Thursday, Kwam 1 extolled the virtues of his late daughter while saying he accepts her death as the will of Allah. POPULAR JOURNALIST, ORIYOMI HAMZAT, FREED FROM SSS COUSTODY

 A popular Ibadan-based broadcaster, Oriyomi Hamzat, has been released from the custody of the State Security Service (SSS), where he was detained for weeks. Mr Hamzat, who owns Agidigbo radio station in Ibadan, was detained at the SSS office in Ibadan on August 1. He was later transferred to the Abuja office of the agency. Individuals and groups, like the Association of Nigerian Comrades (ANC), have clamoured for the release of the broadcaster whose arrest was seen as unlawful and an infringement on press freedom. Narrating how he was arrested, the general manager of Agidigbo radio station, Ismail Idowu, said the SSS officers visited the radio station on July 31, demanding to see Mr Hamzat. OLUBADAN: MOGAJIS ISSUE SEVEN-DAY ULTIMATUM TO 21 IBADAN KINGS

The Ibadan M ogajis (family heads) , under the aegis of Council of Authentic Ibadan Mogajis, have issued a seven -day ultimatum to the 21 kings installed by the Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, to withdraw their threat to recommend Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Saliu Adetunji , for removal or face the wrath of Ibadan people . The 21 kings , who were on August 27 , 2017 installed by the governor , had on Monday given a 21 -day ultimatum to the monarch to be of good conduct or risk being removed from the throne.
